GREETINGS FROM MAURY ISLAND WINERY
Celebrating 18 years of award-winning wines from our estate vineyard
Happy Holidays everyone and many thanks to all of you who came to our Holiday Open House on Saturday December 13 to sample and procure our latest vintage wines - our 2024 Estate Crémant de Maury sparkling rosé and our 2024 Estate Pinot Noir. For those of you who couldn’t make it, we still have both wines available for purchase through the end of December. We will have several cases of Chardonnay available later in the spring of 2026, our first commercial vintage of that varietal.
Happy Spring! This is an exciting time in the vineyard as the vines renew the growth that will deliver the next vintage. We feel confident it will be another good one. But for now we are super excited about the 2024 vintage! As you may know if you’re familiar with our wines, we make Pinot Noir and a sparkling rosé we call Crémant de Maury. They have both recently won Double Gold in two separate wine competitions. The 2024 Estate Crémant de Maury scored 97 out of 100 points at the 2026 Savor Northwest Wine Competition and the 2024 Estate Pinot Noir scored 94 points at the 2026 Seattle Wine Awards. If you’re anxious to try them, just go to our Visit page and make an appointment for a private tasting under our grape arbor. Our tasting season runs from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
For those of you who are not familiar with our wines, we are a small, family owned and operated vineyard and winery within the Puget Sound American Viticultural Area (AVA) dedicated to producing high quality estate-grown wines. Founded in 2008, we grow several clones of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay, producing about 120 cases per year of Estate Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and a traditional Champagne method sparkling rosé we call Crémant de Maury. We have been growing vinifera grapes on our property near the north shore of Maury Island since 1980.
Also, we can now ship wine to nearly every state. To order wines available for shipping, visit our Store page. And if you would like to be added to our mailing list to receive updates regarding new wine releases, upcoming events, etc., just add your email address below.
Cheers!
